  • We were visiting Melbourne for 4 days and were staying very close to the Botanical Gardens, so used it as a short cut to Acland St and the beach. It is a lovely little spot and well loved by residents...  more »
  • Recommend this place for quiet and lovely picnic. The flowers are awesome. Took a couple of pictures even though it was more end of season.  more »
  • If you get a feel of our admission to the garden. Once the moth ~ ~ blue and wide, spacious, wide seems to be all about. It's just a lot of trees, flowers are the same and I went for a walk when it comes to Sanya would be pretty extraordinary thing!

  • Superbly maintained, always, and truly botanical in the sense that it has so many different trees, shrubs and flowers, this is one place I'm happy to pay council rates for. It has so many different corners and views of the park, whether you're after a shady or a full-sun spot. A local oasis that is getting a little too well known outside St Kilda.
  • This place can be easily underrated, especially when St Kilda is well known for its beaches. The garden is actually a great place to relax on the Saturday afternoon. Although it's smaller than some gardens near the CBD, there's still plenty of trees and other plants, as well as a mini rose garden
  • Lovely park to stop and smell the roses (especially since there is a whole garden full). Great for kids. Pets welcome (leashed). Nice and quite for a short stroll (hardly any traffic noise). Perfect for a picnic.
  • Excellent! Very intersting place to explore, enjoy and relax. The rose garden and various garden beds can be quite spectacular at the right time of the year. Great park infrastructure and very well set out. There is a rainforest conservatory if you want a short experience detour. As you walk around you feel your moving from one park type to another.
  • I love this quaint little garden. Makes me miss living near by it :( Definitely something to check out tho and enjoy with friends over a picnic or walk.
