This War Memorial is situated on a lovely hilltop overlooking Fremantle Harbour and Rottnest Island and is really well maintained. The main memorial is in the form of an obelisk but there are quite a ... more »

A great setting, and a wonderful view over the City of Fremantle, with views to the harbour and the Indian Ocean beyond. Tip: if you take the Fremantle Hop-on Hop-off Tram Tour, they'll bring you right here, and you'll get around five minutes to get off the tram and take photos.

I love this place. It's in a higher ground located in Freo so the views from here are amazing. The area is very well maintained and the grass is also kept well. Very clean and peaceful. A great place for a quiet picnic or just a nice spot to wind down after a big day. It is also Fairley easy to get to and placed smack right in the hill as soon as you enter Fremantle. Parking is also very accessible and easy using public transport. We went there during the sunset and the views from you there was spectacular. Orange/pink/purple skies really does lift your mood. So go ahead and check it out and be awed by its beauty. 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

Beautiful sunsets and interesting war memorial. The hill gives a wide view of Fremantle as well. Highly recommended.
