    An easy place to stop and enjoy the fantastic vista over Cairns. It is also very convenient if you are towing a caravan (slowly) to pull over and let the traffic pass.

    A beautiful view of Cairns as you drive up to Kuranda or the tablelands. Gorgeous when the lighting is dramatic, dawn, dusk or as a storm rolls in. There's an awning and a couple of bench seats, enough parking for about 10 cars. About 100m to the south is the entry to a very intense mountain bike downhill trail for experienced riders. On a humid night, turn your back to the lookout and look for fireflies in the jungle canopy.

    This lookout gives a view of Cairns. Unfortunately it is situated in the bend of a very busy main road making it dangerous for tourists with little driving experience in Australia (in my opinion)
