  • This was land restored after being used as a sugar plantation.We went in the dry season so no crocs or bugs. Interesting animal life.

  • Surprisingly tranquil spot nestled between the busy highway and Yorkeys Knob. BBQs and undercover table, walking trails and bird hides at the water's edge. Take some industrial strength insect repellent.
  • Great place in morning and afternoon. The birds and turtles make this place special. Walking all the pathways will take less than an hour.
  • It's quiet, you can see some birds, but the mosquitoes will drive you mad.
  • Lovely place for a long walk around the wetland
