  • This museum is huge and has so many collections. You could spend hours in here if you had the time. Well worth the bargain price of $4... great job guys.  more »
  • $4 entry fee and worth it. Lots of rooms filled with all sorts of stuff.....old clothing, photos, local memorabilia, old musical instruments and so much more. For anyone who enjoys a walk down memory ...  more »
  • Screeds of information about the district, so much in fact that the museum is in need of curation. Over the years, too much has been added which doubles up. For instance, how many lodge raiments do we...  more »
  • There is so much here. You could spend 2 days looking at all the historical pieces and not have seen half. The entry is cheap and the elderly gentleman in charge was extremely nice; true country hospitality. It is great to see that people are willing to donate priceless heirlooms for others to learn about the history of Silverton at its peak and eventual decline, as well as learning about Broken Hill.
  • Great Museum, filled with many varieties of old items. Would recommend visitors to check it out, you will need a fair amount of free time to look around at all the things they have available to view in there, entry fee is a very fair about $5 or so! For the amount of items they have there its a bargain!
  • Cool little goal with lots of memorabilia and history inside of the town
  • The collection of old stuff is fantastic. It just goes on room after room. And only $4 enterance fee. You just have to drop in here
  • The Gaol museum was closed when we arrived because it was after dark so can't comment on what is inside...but the town is very cool. Great ghost town for exploring.
