Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens Reviews
Lush and green everywhere you look, very peaceful getaway from the chaos of everyday life. This would be a wonderful oasis when it's hot in summer as there are so many layers of trees filtering out th... more »
The gardens are quite extensive and there are some steep paths if you go down to the lake which is quite beautiful. This is a natural Australian garden with tall gums trees mixed with some European tr... more »

Well I'm not impressed. Been to so many places in the Dandenong ranges area, and this is by far my least favorite. The garden is not taken care of. The paths are steep and rough. Some are even closed. Barely any facilities. The toilets are along the main path near the entrance which is not practical if you're having a picnic by the lake, especially that the way back up is not easy. If you have a baby don't go there. The only pretty site is the lake and it's surroundings. Other than that it is not a worth a visit.
Natural beauty with extensive walking paths. Choice of long and gentle, or shorter and steeper. Come for a picnic on the lawn.
It is very natural place with great scenes. But public transportation to and from this place is a little bit limited. If u miss one bus, high chance that u have to wait half an hour for the next one.
A beautiful place to go to unwind and relax away from the busy citylife..gardens and paths etc are well maintained. Take a blanket and picnic and sit down bottom by lake. You wont get much phone signal by lake which is a bonus :)
Stunning place to spend a day! But if you take your own food make sure you bring a bad as theres no bins in the walks :)
