  • So much planning and design has been put into this magnificent garden that it is still standing tall and proud all these years after the death of Alfred Nicholas!! Truly a masterpiece! The ginkgo biluba tree! I have never seen one this tall and they are slow growers!! The reflections of the bridges and structures over the pond are just so delightful! A true paradise for photographers and wedding photos!! Thank you so much for your forward thinking. You have truly left a legacy behind for the younger generations!! I pray the place stays forever!!
  • Big garden with lots of canopy. The leaves are gradually turning red so it will be good to come a few weeks later for the autumn leaves. We were here to have a picnic but there's not much open space here except for the area around the lake. There is a carpark just opposite the entrance but it clearly is insufficient for the holiday crowd. Toilets are rather decent here. Free entry to park.
  • Very pretty garden to walk around, centered around a picturesque lake with mountain ash trees rising high up into the sky. There are a variety of native and exotic trees which change colour throughout the year. Free entry. Bring a picnic to enjoy.
  • What a beautiful place. I love it so much didn't want to leave, so l stayed till very late. I will come back again when I come to visit Melbourne. I will stay in the mountain so I can enjoy it with picnic and time to relax in this Garden.
  • Great walk, wide paths that lead down to the bottom of the garden, there are also stairs that cross the paths for more active/able types. Leading in to Autumn the leaves are starting to change and will look amazing soon.
