  • A stunning visit in spring. Meandering pathways and visual delights. An average level of fitness recommended. Both ramping and stairs around the property. The highlight was the lovely lake.  more »

  • Nice garden but at the time of my visit, it was a bit shabby, with some renovations going on and some paths closed. It wasn't possible to walk all the way around the pond. Has a lot of potential but needs some TLC.
  • Amazing place to spend a few hours or even half a day in the Dandenong Mountains. The gardens are spectacular and the entry is now free. Each season has its own special charm but spring and autumn are particularly beautiful. The little lake is an ideal romantic place and there are plenty of other super romantic places. I proposed to by wife there and we considered getting married there as well, but decided to go with the Botanic gardens in the end.
  • Beautiful gardens although I did not necessarily pick up the best time in great for my visit. Will make sure to come again in a different season.
  • The lake scared the bejesus out of me due to watching too many horror movies. Absolutely stunning place none the less
  • Beautiful parklands in a formally private estate donated to the Victorian government.
