  • Visited for a couple of hours. My toddler loved the place and was happy running around and looking at the birds and animals, especially the peacock. Nice place to visit for a couple of hours.
  • Not at all impressed with the attitude of the staff at this farm attraction. While most of the animals are in great health and look very happy the farm could do with a general tidy up. They have a lam...  more »

  • I have been here many times to take photos. Its a great place to spend quality family time and educate children about life on the farm. There is a huge variety of animals, including good old, 'Emu'. The family can climb aboard one of the carriages and enjoy their tractor tour around the farm. Here they will be able to see and photograph the animals. When I was there we watched sheep shearing and children could also have a turn at milking a cow. When you consider how big the city of Melbourne is, this family farm, just a half hour from the city, is an awesome place. Inside the cafe and adjoining restaurant there are cosy fires burning within the fireplace where you can sit and relax with a nice cappuccino.
  • Good place for the family and reasonable pricing. You can pack some food for a picnic as they have a good area for that. Remember to wear your wellies / galoshes as the farm can get muddy. The only drawback is that you can't pet the kangaroos. Otherwise, this place deserves a visit
  • Great range of animals, from pigeons, rabbits, deer, cows, camels and more. Regular shows, tractor rides Reasonable costs and great staff. Good coffee and the cheese is so creamy and fresh!!
  • Chesterfield Farm is a great place to spend a few hours with the kids to find out where our milk and meat really come from. There is a cafĂ©, baby animal nursery, animal feeding, tractor rides, farm show and much more with school and kinder programs and party or group bookings. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is ample parking. Prices are very reasonable for a great day out.
  • I had a horrible experience at the farm and I am not going there again. I think the management should review how they run the place.
