  • I was seriously amazed at the amount we learnt within a couple of hours. The 1890’s house was my favourite. The old school was a lot of fun for our 6 year old.  more »
  • What an excellent surprise this was. Was much bigger than I imagined and brought back loads of memories.  more »
  • We took 2 hours to tour the site, including two demonstrations. If you are fans of American Pickers you will love this place.  more »

  • While I realised I wasn't so young anymore when showing my 10-year-old son the types of telephones we had as kids from behind museum glass, overall my family had a great day here. In fact, my son, who usually prefers the view from in front of his Playstation, was the one who had the best day, being chosen to make a piece of rope on an antique machine, and he got to take it home as a souvenir. This museum is hyper local, with just about everything on display from and/or about the Fraser Coast Region. From the old school house and railway station to the photo and scaled model replica of the bay's main drag.
  • Aweosme. And so friendly. Even my husband loved it!
  • Lots of great artifacts and dedicated volunteers...it is bigger than it looks.
  • A great deal of energy and attention to detail has gone in to creating this very interesting journey into the past. We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here.
  • Stepping back in time. Educational, a great place for a family outing.
