  • This would be one of the hi lights of our 4 week trip (for the kids). Fossicking for gem stones .... that's every kids dream, right? Our guide (wish I'd got his name!) was brilliant. He was funny and ...  more »
  • Learnt lots about how the gems are mined underground, Do the tour so informative &in the hotter months it waslovely & cool beneath th ground. The jewerlleybeing sold is simply stunning
  • The tour was amazing, the people were lovely. A lovely shop to purchase, a museum with crystals galore and a an opportunity to fossick with assistance for learners

  • We had a great experience at the mine, staff were very friendly and helpful. It has been family owned for many years and the work they have done is very interesting. The actual mine tour is fascinating and there are a lot of lovely things to purchase such as jewellery, souvenirs and keepsakes. You can search for your own gems in their panning section or enjoy looking around.
  • Very unfriendly and snappy staff, at least the lady who did our tour! No interest in helping us finding our way to buy tickets or jewellery. Very bad experience for us. Tour was interesting but nothing to recommend
  • My family and I had a great morning panning / fossicking and also doing the underground mine tour. The staff were great and the guide knew her stuff. Plenty of history here and also a great story behind the mine too. Lastly, there was plenty of parking room for caravans etc here too, so it was good to be able to check out of the caravan park and park our camper trailer easily while we went through.
  • Great way to spend a morning. Friendly staff, Kim was especially friendly and very helpful 😇
  • Really great informative tour. Nice gift shop.
