  • Military sites were built to protect the Australia mainland from Japan during World War II. You can see traces made a huge Cannon diameter of 9.2 inch shells and ammunition. Japan ended up with lost used a large battery that it is not. Until the left noted train tours and train volunteers who will guide emplacements and underground ammunition and weapons Depot. Yan's campus is just (as I think) of nests was not cleaned so much bird droppings, and by さかったり and I can't concentrate on the commentary could also.

  • When me, my mum and little brother went to Rottnest Island, one of the things we did was go to the Oliver Hill Battery. We road on bikes that we rented to the bass of the hill where we parked our bikes and walked up the hill to the gun. While we waited for our tour to start I looked at the many World War II news clippings such as the Pearl Harbor Bombing. to what I learnt Fremantel was a in-portent harbor and Perth was under threat of a Japanese invasion and the gun was made to keep it safe. The gun is 3 stores. The bottom loaded shells while the top fired them. some of the tour was under ground and the stored shells their and had their dinning room there and many other things.
  • In my youngest years I painted the gun. With olive green paint. And working in the bunker was fun. I reckon you should visit this site. Because there's a bit of historical value here 😀.
  • It is an amazing place with a long history
  • Its lovely
