  • Warm and friendly greeting, staff that know the wines intimately and take the time to tell the story of their very good wines. I really like the non-vintage sparkling and the pinot gris. There is also...  more »
  • This is a modern cellar door, over looking the Tamar river. Our host was very knowledgable and let us set our own pace. A variety of wines is available for tasting, food can also be ordered. There was...  more »
  • We had a beef pie, and a chicken and leak pie which were exceptional. It was around $20 and came with a tasty salad. The pies were well created and not just like the ones you get at a shop.

  • We loved this winery - it felt very authentic. The staff were passionate about the wine and very knowledgable. We also visited Josef Chromy and preferred the wines here. Cheese platter was great and reasonably priced - as were the wines. Try the Chardonnay and sparkling.
  • This is a beautiful part of the world and they make some of our best Rieslings and Pinot Noir.
  • I have just read a posting that is 6 years old and as the Tamar Ridge Cellar Door has only been operating 2 years, formally an entirely different business, I think it is totally incorrect. Tamar Ridge has the largest, most modern Cellar Door in the West Tamar. Well trained knowledgeable staff, an excellent range of wines. Offer a winter menu including gourmet pies and summer platters. Coffee & Tea and panoramic river views from the terrace.
  • Amazing wine and stunning accommodation. Could not want anything more.
  • Great wines and great view. If you love fruit driven Whites and sweet wines this is your place.
