  • We were at 14:30 there - so an hour before closing and almost all rooms were completed. There was no information. The Park is unkempt, a giant walk-in fish is gesperrt-presumably for years. Probably, it is different if you (twice a day) takes part in a tour. So it was a big disappointment!

  • This "information center" don't merit those 2 stars I assigned for 2 reasons:-it's (somewhat) a throw a boomerang - we admire the talent of the guide who plays an unusual musical instrument: didgeridoo. Other than this, or is the history of the arborigenes? Where were they? When did they arrive? How did they live? How do they communicate? How have they been stolen from their land? How have they been milked by the settlers? How have you got strength give up was their religious beliefs? How the integrated t - we? Etc, etc. Questions unanswered! And yet, there is so much to say... A museum describing the history of the arborigenes of Australia should remain a dream? In this case, stay home and keep dreaming!

  • I visited with my daughter (7 years old). The staff were lovely and very passionate and informative. I found the talks great but my daughter got bored, for her there was too much talking and not enough activities. The boomerang throwing was fun and we purchased one to practice with at home. There was no dancing. The facility is huge and spacious and has a lot of potential to be the cultural hub of Rockhampton. I think the art gallery could house a lot more Indigenous art, including original works of various sizes catering to tourists who cannot carry much and to the locals who would by a large painting.
  • The room wasn't cleaned properly (we found a broken beer bottle underneath our 3yo's bed), plus there was at least one mouse living in the room. The pool was good. We didn't try the food. We won't be staying here again.
  • Great tourist attraction to get an authentic indigenous experience Aboriginal dance, learn to throw boomerang etc. Clean motel rooms at excellent rates
