  • Day trip from Canberra, so glad we ended up there. Easy to get to, we got there in less than 2.5 hrs, sealed roads all the way until the last couple of minutes - be careful of the speed bumps in the l...  more »

  • The approach to one side of the falls was damaged by a bush fire in the summer of 2016 and National Parks are slowly fixing up the amenities. However you can still get to the falls easily enough from the Nellies Glenn side. This is a terrific location and a compact but dramatic waterfall backed by awesome rocky shallows. Extremely popular in the summer, but still well worth the visit.
  • Unfortunately not possible to get to the waterfall as the infrastructure burnt down in a forest fire and hasn't been rebuilt. Terrain and walks are stunning though.
  • Very nice, there's a bench and seats and good spots on the rocks to seat down and have a lunch. There's also a path from the parking that leads to the ledge.
  • Remote, quiteness and filled with its own natural beauty. A place that is second to none.
  • Closed for a long time with no opening date despite the $4 parking fee per car collected at fitzroy falls nswpw are too bone lazy to open Carrington falls, there isn't even a warning that it is closed until you get there. Re-opening date is unknown although the fire was long ago. The nearby walks are confusingly marked & a waste of time.
