  • This is an easy drive a few kms outside Launceston. Basically you have a walk along a boardwalk for, I think, about 1.5 kms taking you over several water channels popular with waterfowl. There's one v...  more »

  • Fantastic walks through the wetlands to Tamar island. Plenty of wildlife about. Well worth a visit.
  • Beautiful place, very relax, friendly staffs. Good place for fresh air before and after a busy day. For tourists, this is the place must go when you are travelling in Lauceston area. Remember bring your binoculars and camera.
  • A pleasant walk to see some wildlife at close quarters. Many black swans nesting, and some cygnets getting out and about.
  • Absolutely amazing place. Earmark 2 to 3 hours and enjoy the trail. Beware of snakes and don't disturb them 😄
