  • It wasn't easy to walk on the rocks but it's a cute place. It's nice to chill there with some friends.  more »
  • A great place to visit for a refreshing swim in crystal clear cool water. Love this place. It is easy to drive to with good parking. Kids will love it.  more »
  • The Crystal Cascade tour is highly recommended. They are approximately 1.5 km from very pleasant walk, surrounded by nature, and with the plus that there are several places where one can enter and swim in water that has a temperature that is very refreshing. It should be only a little care as there are areas where the current is very strong. One of the best attractions that we enjoy in cairns, with the plus that is completely free, until the parking is public.

  • Cool refreshing and beautiful What an amazing spot amongst the rainforest. POSITIVE Gorgeous scenery Has to be 5 degrees cooler than Cairns Water was refreshing Easy walk Bins and seats along a concrete path to water Well signed and easy to find Warning sign for stinging vine (excellent tip) Loads of parking Clean public toilets NEGATIVE Handicap sign faded and useless Female toilet door hard to lock Rubbish littered the natural beauty TIPS There are water holes all along the path Rocks can be slippery with moss Currents in parts not suitable for small children Deep in locations = Alert adult supervision 1.2 km to main waterhole / swimming area Plenty of stairs
  • Awesome place to have a dip, bit of walking involved but its totally worth it. Clear, cool water could stay there all day and not have enough. Bbq facility however was quite dull and dirty could definitely do with a clean and a brighten up.
  • Only a thirty minute drive from Cairns City. Amazing, fresh water. Relatively safe for a dip. The 1.2km walk to the cascades is a breeze. This is a must while in Cairns
  • Awesome place to go but don't forget to pack lunch and your sunblock
  • Love this spot. Cold clear water
