#1 of 18 in Shopping in Mornington Peninsula
On the first Saturday of the month from September through to May Red Hill Community Market features over 300 stalls of carefully curated artisan products. The famous Red Hill Community Market is more than just a market, though--it's also a meeting place, a day out, a tasting plate and a shopping experience. A mix of old favourites and up-and-coming new talent, the market induces that nostalgic feeling of a real community atmosphere where you get the opportunity to buy direct and meet the maker of the products on display. • Great variety of items for sale, well set out in sheds and around the ovals and a great selection of hot food and drinks. Bring cash and your credit card and there is a portable ATM on site too.  more »

  • A large, eclectic, market. Good eating options with a good variety of interesting stalls. Plenty of parking, but it can be a fair walk (uphill) if you're not there early.
  • Upmarket large community market with craft, food produce and food stalls - mostly made by stall holders. Quality produce & expect the prices to match. Very popular - so come early to find a parking spot -$4. Open first Sat of the month from Spring to Autumn (check online first).
  • Loved the market - the people, the food, the atmosphere, everything! Highlight was the scones and steak sanga for me and friend calamari for the hubby. Lots of beautiful craft by the locals. Wished some weren't so dear so I could buy more! From baby /toddler clothes to flowers to tea towels to paintings to everything, it was just unique, pretty, cute, ingenius and I can just go on. Bought beautiful handmade soap for a friend's birthday who has sensitive skin. Only downside was the long queue into the car park from the main road. Oh, and that the market closes at 1pm!
  • Good decent offerings especially cheese and dips. Would have been nice to have more seats for lunch. $4 parking is not too bad. One of the better markets around. Good team of lions volunteers.
  • Enjoyed it, weather was a bit yucky but that's not the markets fault :) helping small local businesses, got to love that! Fun for the kids too
