  • Bush walking tracks are easy access. I use to visit Cape Hillsborough 40 years ago and thought it would be great to return. The caravan park is behind secure gates. The caravan sites are big and have ...  more »

  • Cape Hillsborough great place for a afternoon or the whole day or a couple of days. There plenty of good walks here too. My particular favourites are the Mangrove walk which takes you about in the Mangroves, explains some of the medicinal value of the plants and also about the Aboriginal people that live there. the walk that not many people know about is Hidden Valley this is another particularly good walk not too hard it takes you into the rainforest and explain some of the medicinal value of the trees, along the edge of the water as well, showing you the old fish trap. There is also Billabong but no Bunyip. This place often makes me think of Dreamtime.
  • This is a beautiful spot at only $6 per person per night. You have to call 137 468 to get a spot. It is often full so book ahead
  • Beautiful beach and amazing volcanic rocks. Come down at sunrise to see the kangaroos on the beach.
  • It is so fun, best place for camping ⛺️🏕
