Amazing place!!! A must to anyone near by, or anyone interested in observing and interacting with Australian wildlife! The lads working there were very nice and clearly care for the animals. They do everything themselves and all seemed to have lively spirits. Not a bad thing to say about it, except for maybe a mad little sheep that seemed to hate my sister.. The guys were informed though, and it seems they were already planning to find a solution for his anger management issues!
Unbelievable to call this a wildlife park you will see more wildlife driving there ..A ripoff for the tourist visiting Australia the park is in need of a lot of work and cleaning to bring this up to something worthwhile to visit .. And most of all needs some real Australian Wildlife that it advertises for people to see
The animals were in great condition and the people were friendly and down to earth. It felt really natural and relaxing just walking around to interact and observe the animals :)
Hidden gem - dingoes had pups when we were there, spectacular animals. Oh and the food is too notch, in particular, get some of their home made dairy free ice cream, we were skeptical, turned out to be amazing!
To call this a wildlife park is somewhat of a misrepresentation. Although it offered a welcome chance to get off the road for a while, most of the animals would be more correctly be described as farm animals and livestock instead of wildlife which implies Australia animals. Sure, there's some kangaroos and emus up front but after that, the majority of what's left can be seen anywhere along the road for free. I felt a bit ripped off paying to look at cows and chickens and sheep and horses and the whole setup seemed poorly maintained. The toilets are filthy too.
