  • Well laid out, and covers a wide range of plants from various regions. Good way to spend a pleasant couple of hours. Most parts wheelchair accessible.  more »

  • Our family absolutely love it here! It's a great place for a walk and adventure; heaps of stuff to look at and lots of tracks. There is a great area for kids to play, barbecues and plenty of shade. Bring plenty of insect repellent though...
  • This place has a very 'Aussie bush' feel to it. It's a little rough around the edges, but they have some really beautiful section, nice selections, big open spaces, play areas for kids and the cafe has a good selection at very affordable prices. It's run by volunteers, not the council or state, so it relies on donations (parking or at any donation box) and sponsors. Next time, (when It's cooler and we are better prepared), we'll try one of the long trails.
  • Having been to many gardens in Australia and overseas, I feel the garden is fairly ordinary. It is nice to have a walk in there, however, I cannot justify paying $30 for the entry to the garden, especially when there isn't much flower to be seen.
  • Beautifully maintained place, great habitat going in there. Good place to see snakes too. Not dangerous to visit though, so don't worry.
  • We always stop here heading south to Sydney. The gardens are beautifully maintained even in the drought times and the volunteers who run it are personable. The menu is not gourmet but offers tasty, home style favourites like Rissole roll and cheese and jam sandwich. They have free mosquito repellent at entrance if necessary, plenty of parking, shaded and full sun area and huge grassy area and kids cubby to play in. You would not know the highway is just there. An oasis.
