  • Peaceful and beautiful place to have a walk and collect your thoughts. View is spectacular. Unable to even dip a toe in as there had been crocodile sightings in October. Still great to walk around....  more

  • IS THAT ALL? A four mile PARADOX that oscillates between surprisingly ordinary & breathtaking. My first glimpse was when I made my way onto the sand from the main city street & initially disappointed. The tide was out, the sand & water were not pristine, but a nice array of palms followed the entire curvature of the coast. BUT, it grows on you, the majesty & splendour begins to slowly appear & the appeal also grows. The scenario is enhanced when the tide comes in & the large body of water creates a magnificent vista. My partner & I even visited at night, though initially she was reluctant re potential crocodiles, the view was worth the time & effort as the cool sea breeze washed over us. We were there a week, the town & the beach permeates your senses to the point where you love both & reluctant to leave. Visit Four Mile beach as often as you can & you will soon appreciate & love the sheer beauty of this wonderful part of our country. Highly recommend, only swim by the nets or where officials patrol & provide security. Cheers.
  • Great looking beach. Due to the jellyfish it wasn't an ideal place to swim
  • Amazing place to see when visiting area
  • Best beach in the world
  • Nice spot with a small swimming area monitored by lifeguard. Little bits of shade and lots of nearby parking. Croc and jellyfish warnings.
