#1 of 11 in Things to do in Port Campbell
A striking, craggy land of sheer cliff faces, rock-strewn shorelines, and deserted beaches, Port Campbell National Park sits alluringly on the Victorian coast, less than 200 km (124 mi) from Melbourne. Scenic drives and wind-blown trails are waiting to be traversed in this impressive yet isolated wilderness, where you’re more likely to encounter a roaming emu than a wandering human. • This is a must have experience while in Victoria. The apostles provide a stunning view of the wonders of nature. Getting to the Apostles via the great ocean road drive adds up to the whole experience....  more »
  • Was taken aback at how busy the visitors centre and walkway were even midweek, literally a thousand tourists. Great views so I can see why.  more »

  • Beautiful part of the great ocean road. Lots of limestone features to check out - certainly worth the time. Beautiful swimming spot in town which is patrolled. There are some easy walks in the area which take you to some unique spots. Worth starting at least overnight.
  • Highly recommend for overseas visitors or anyone that's never been. It can get crowded so advise arriving very early in the morning. Summer, Autumn, Spring or Winter you won't be disappointed. It can be foggy at certain times of the year but I still recommend going as it makes it even more mysterious.
  • If you're driving this road, leave some time to stop and check out the meeting of a massive sea and a massive land. The sights and sounds are memories that will stay with you, and if you fancy photography, there are a thousand great compositions waiting to catch your eye! Most areas can accommodate wheelchairs in the parking area (some are fully surfaced, with toilets at at least one of the several stops available), and there are a lot of boardwalk sections to allow mobility challenged folks to see things, and further steeper parts for the more adventurous. Recently revisited each on the way through and was happy to see the added boardwalks and the sights were still as enjoyable as if I'd never been before.
  • Great place to visit. Very beautiful on sunset. A must see destination of all the travellers. Highly recommended.
