  • It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop us from checking out a few wineries in the area. This one is fabulous! The grounds look beautiful and I think there are two restaurants here. I like sweet wine...  more »

  • Nice venue and wine tasting area. A bit corporate-y feeling with ultra measured pours and minimal chit chat from the counter wait staff. The wines themselves are nothing special, just good marketing on the bottle. Tip: If you’re the designated driver, the coffee shop next door has very flavorful coffee. Tastier than the wines in my opinion.
  • Very beautiful location with a very friendly staff, it's a must do in your trip to the Hunter Valley!
  • I was excited to take my friends to this beautiful winery as I have had lovely experiences previously here. We had a large group this time and notified them we were going to be 15mins late exactly which to them was annoying. The lady who took us through the tasting was constantly making rude and offensive jokes and we felt unvalued and rushed. Our first winery Mt Pleasant was the best experience and Brian had made us feel special and it worked because we all purchased ALOT of wine. Also, if you order the cheese platters(cheese was amazing) they come in paper boxes and give you paper plates so bring a nice platter yourself.
  • A staple visit when we're n the Hunter. There's ample space at the counter to taste and always very knowledgable hosts. It's one of the larger wineries, sourcing grapes from the Hunter, Orange and South Australia. Great Shiraz and the Sticky Pig is a must. Also, next door, Circa 1876 restaurant is one of the best in the Hunter - yet to eat there but will be for sure...you have to visit the building even if not eating. Stunning old building.
  • I drove an hour yesterday to look at the wedding Chapel to be greeted by no one. No phone call to say no one would be there. I wouldn't want to get married here now due to the un organisation of the staff. The beautiful people at lovedale Chapel were very helpful and will be happy to choose this one for my big day.
