  • The wines at Moorebank are a big step up from most of the more well known wineries and vineyards. This is a boutique, private vineyard producing quality wines for many years now. I'm a single variety ...  read more »
  • Overpriced and the lady owner was extremely rude. My partner and I tasted only a few sweet wines and decided to buy elsewhere as we were more fond of the wines across road. As we were about to leave she gave us attitude for not purchasing anything and charged us $10 for the tasting. How unbelievable! Didn't even have the courtesy to tell us beforehand! We ended up buying Liqueur Muscat at Pokolbin Brothers Wines for half the price and the friendly owners even gave us a further discount. Out of the 15 wineries we visited over two days, Moorebank was the only one that made us feel like crap walking out of a wine tasting.
  • The lady owner was absolutely fantastic and so were her wines! My partner and I were very impressed with how accommodating and friendly she was. Would definatly recommend!!
  • Really good quality wines and delicious muscat. Owner was very accommodating. The condiments were also quite unique and nice.
  • Patronizing owner with no real information about the "wine", which is basically glorified vinegar, most of which is priced in the staggering over $40 a bottle range. They were upfront about a $5 a head tasting fee which is still very uncommon in the Hunter, but the ill informed owner assumed was blanket across the local vineyards. Also be prepared for the sales pitch for the usual bland hand-made jams and sauces. With over 50 vineyards in the region visited, this is easily the stand out worst.
  • Deb and Ian know their wines very well, and are very friendly and warm towards their guests. This is one of my favourite places in the Hunter.
