  • Enjoyed a superb late morning at this quality establishment. The hosts were very attentive and knowledgable. The beer tasty was interesting and very refreshing. The Dunkel was the winner
  • Enjoyed tasting the Aussie Pale Ale and Long John Cider, which are two of many drinks you can try on tap. Friendly staff take you through the various drinks on offer, and if it's not beer or cider, th...  read more »
  • Hidden gem of a place. Great atmosphere combined with good food and great customer service. We were there during dusk and we could see the kangaroos come out.
  • Seems as though Hope Estate is resting on the fact they get alot of gigs, that bubble is going to burst unless they change their attitude. Bad service & average product. Terrible vibe, unfriendly staff who explained to us " I don't care if you don't like the wine, I'm not attached to it " after reading reviews I'm very glad we didn't bother with food & avoided the disappointment in that also
  • Great views, some nice wine. Recommend the Ripper Shiraz. Their wheat beer is to die for.
  • The Fleetwood Mac concert on Sunday night at Hope Estate was everything I heard from friends, who saw them the night before, said it would be. We had platinum seats just 19 seats from centre stage. The band sang all their hits and the show was continuous, with Lindsey Buckingham playing the most magnificent guitar solos, while the rest of the band took a short break. The show went for 2.30 hours. The girls are still gorgeous and sing so well, the boys are exceptional musicians and Lindsey is the ultimate performer on stage. The lighting changes and large background and side screens giving close ups of each performer were a bonus. The individual dialogues by Chris, Stevie, and Lindsey on band's history and their inter personal relationships was a very welcome insight into their song writing and personal journeys.
  • I attended the Elton John concert on Saturday, 5th Dec 2015 and I am writing to express my profound disappointment at the treatment of patrons' food as their bags were searched at the entrance to the event. I am not sure if it was Hope Estate's responsibility or the concert promoter's, but either way, it was disgraceful to see perfectly good food dumped into filthy garbage bins with no hope of recovery for redistribution. I accept that you will not allow food to be taken into the venue, in order to sell more of the outrageously priced food, but the confiscated food should have been collected and given to a charity for redistribution. The people conducting the searches were pretty thoughtless in the way they handled people's queries and displeasure at having their food thrown out. Now for the hampers! The ridiculously overpriced offerings are something you should be embarrassed to have your name attached to. $125 each???? The contents, apart from the wine, would be worth at most $20 to you. Even at 100% markup, the hampers could have been sold for $60 each and still be overpriced. It left a sour taste in everyone's mouths and a distinctly unpleasant memory of Hope Estate as a venue for functions and concerts. I will ensure in the future, that neither I nor my friends who also attended the concert, will give all of Hope Estate's products a very wide berth in the future. You should make a sizable donation to a homeless charity over the Xmas period, to make up for the lack of respect shown to perfectly useful food at the concert.
  • Thank you for allowing me to spend $1000 on tickets for myself and my wife to have a so called signature dinner which consisted of a single horrible canapé, a entree small enough to annoy an ant, a main that was delivered room temperature and overcooked, surly rude staff and let's not forget delivering the dessert at 725 and immediately announcing Fleetwood Mac was starting in 10 minutes - they started in 5 minutes so we missed the start by the time we battled through the crowd to our seat - not helped by hardly any staff being available at this time. You succeeded in achieving incompetence and mediocrity in every area and for that you should be congratulated. No company could be this utterly inept therefore it must have been deliberate - a job well done. If Elvis Presley and jimmy Hendrix were reincarnated and played there next week I still would not return.
