  • We joined the Hope Estate Winery wine club last year and enjoy there wines. When we go to the Hunter Valley its nice to call into and see what other specials they have. The Winery also has concerts on...  more »
  • I don't know about you but I can't start to drink wine, or even sample wine at a cellar door until I've enjoyed lunch & a few quality beers. That's how I roll, so if your like me then Hope Estate is d...  more »
  • There's plenty of better options for stops on a Hunter Valley wine tour, however if you're looking for a place for lunch it's not too bad
Google
  • Definitely DO NOT get a meal package with a concert at this place EVER! We did, and it was worse than the worst small town RSL meal you can imagine (and frankly that's an insult to RSL's everywhere!).. steaks were served raw, they ran out of water (!) , meals were cold and inedible and it was absolute chaos from the waitstaff.. we PAID $350 per person (yes $700!!) to eat here before the Elton John concert last year. We walked out after being served a raw steak 2 hours into the meal service. The anger on the other guests faces was astounding. I thought there was going to be a riot everyone was so annoyed. When we complained afterwards by email, they offered us $100 voucher to use again at Hope Wine Estate????!! Now why would we EVER do that? I am posting this so that no one ever has such a bad experience here again. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.
  • Lunch was nice, big servings and great prices. The wine was nice and they also had their own beer as well. Amazing view outside the winery. On the Hope grounds, they have some major concerts, i can see why they have concerts there.
  • Seems as though Hope Estate is resting on the fact they get alot of gigs, that bubble is going to burst unless they change their attitude. Bad service & average product. Terrible vibe, unfriendly staff who explained to us " I don't care if you don't like the wine, I'm not attached to it " after reading reviews I'm very glad we didn't bother with food & avoided the disappointment in that also
  • Possibly the worst customer service in Australia, I challenge you to find worse. The staff member had a seriously bad attitude and was rude when we ordered our food, of which the cost far outweighed the quality. Their Apple Cider wasn't bad but the Beer was pretty ordinary, save yourself the trip.
  • Great views, some nice wine. Recommend the Ripper Shiraz. Their wheat beer is to die for.
