  • The wines here are fantastic. We had a wine tasting in the front patio. Our host was enthused about their delicious product. I really learned about their Shiraz, but I really liked a dessert wine call...  more »
  • Can't recommend this place highly enough. Have visited 3 times now, and the staff always greet me with a smile and a chat. The wines are superb, and everybody who works at Brokenwood clearly has a pas...  more »
  • Tastings : $5 per person for regular wines and $15 pp for premium wines. We opted for the premium tasting but left thoroughly unimpressed and didn't even buy a bottle!  more »

  • Expect not to get your wine tasting fee back even if you've made a purchase. Don't know if anyone has experience in refundable facial at Myer or David jones before, customer is entitled to get their full refund no matter what free gifts they had been offered. If you asked for your refund the staff will make you feel greedy and embarrassed you. Please offer a service that is matching with your wine quality before too late
  • My favourite "boutique" winery in the Hunter Valley region. Their Shiraz is mid weight but really generous with flavour and aroma. You have to pay a $5 tasting fee but you get it back if you buy wine from them. Service is amazing too, the staff are playful and entertaining which makes the tasting experience a little more personal.
  • My sister and I were location hopping for her upcoming wedding and we dropped into Brokenwood so she could do a wine tasting and I could pick up a tawny port. I wasn't tasting becasue I'm a P plater and the staff didn't act like I wasn't there... which was great! Got chatting with Damien and running through what my sister wants for her wedding and the challenges we're facing with numbers he suggested a location that looks near perfect! I know that we'll be comparing everywhere to it... or.. using that location :) Thanks Damien!
  • Our must visit winery when we're in Hunter Valley. One of two wineries in Hunter Valley that has big and bold red wines. Staff are always friendly.
  • Appalling Apathetic Staff behind the counter. Such a shame after visiting some amazing and welcoming wineries in the hunter
