What can I say!! Nothing is too hard for the staff. Dealt with a lovely passionate lady called Alex while she wasn't brushed up on the function side of things, she organised another staff member to so... read more »
My family visited for Sunday lunch as we had a toddler with us and the petting animals and playground were available. These attractions were obviously crowded and busy but certainly enjoyable. My beef... read more »
A lovely relaxed atmosphere, and great place just sit and have a drink and chat. Not overly loud as is the case in other clubs. A great night is the trivial pursuit night when the club is packed with ... read more »
Sunday's are def their busiest day!!! Carpark Full. Dining room full. Terrace booked out. The playground full (with kids!) their amazing rustic farm - comes with baby lambs and all!! Full. Visited 3 years ago.. What a change!! Arrival at 1230 for one of my daughters friends birthday Party. My daughter handed a balloon by one of the staff. The line at the bar was long but moving relatively quick line bigger at restaurant when we started lining up at 115pm HOWEVER only a 10 min wait if that. Food following 20mins later!! Hats off to the staff for pushing meals out so quickly! Above average quality too! And a decent price!!!! The kids playground is awesome. The animals are awesome. The view is awesome!!! Way to go reinventing what a golf club/country club represents! Didn't have that you don't belong feel! More of a community feel (staff interacting with regulars) As a Richmond local... Lynwood is definitely becoming my families new local! Well done to the new Lynwood!
Great food. Good entertainment put on for kids with petting zoo on the weeks, explained by one of the managers that they will hopefully have their own animals everyday when the Dept. Industies grant them an exhibitors liscense, Laughed when I asked how long until that happens.. Any day now was the response. I can see the old regulars not liking the new clientele moving into their club. But wow didn't it need it. Social golfer here so I will be utilising the new driving range while the kids and mum enjoy the clubhouse farm facilities!! Fingers are crossed for the manager regarding the animals and permit - Animals means I can whack a few buckets of balls at the driving range!!!
The Veal Schnitzel has totally gone off with the new chef. The veal was actually tough!!, and there's a nasty Vinegar aftertaste. We noticed lots of unfinished schnitzel left on plates, so it wasn't just us. Not sure what they've done to it, but compared to what the old chef used to serve, this is rubbish. Give the Schnitzel night a big miss.
It's a hard course bring plenty of balls if you don't hit straight. The course makes you play better golf.
Terrible food I had chicken parmigiana only to find chicken was not cooked through sent it back came back burnt on ends and very dry my partner had pork ribs which was full of veins and has never experienced this in all the times he's ever eaten ribs... I must say beautiful setting was such a shame the food completely let it down
