  • It's a great place to take not only your kids but also your friends. A lot to learn, do and experience. The most awesome part was the planetarium . Sitting back in that chair and looking at the universe unfold before us made us speechless. We just couldn't believe the expanse of the universe as was shown to us. My kids were spellbound by it all. Outside the planetarium is a world of activities that can keep anyone busy. One can't ave enough of it. I loved that place. On any day you can o there and easily spend a few ours trying out the different experiments and exciting scientific apparatus on display.
  • Haven't seen my kids so consistently excited about anything. We spent two solid hours there and they still hadn't seen everything there was to see. A wonderful place for kids.
  • We took our boys aged 6 and 8 to Scitech and they loved it. They spent the whole time going from display to display operating the controls for about 3 hours. They learnt quite a lot about how things work in the process. I enjoyed it too. I learnt to drive the two wheeled gyroscopic scooter, which was great fun and I didn't run anybody over! An ideal outing for children of any age plus their adults We go every year and now our older boys still enjoy it but the new one our two year old absolutely loves it
  • Decent bang for Buck on an annual pass. Friendly staff and interesting exhibits. Showing its age in places and could use a transformation or new venue. OK for toddlers
  • It's really best place to visit kids and adults. Very knowledgeable and experimental wanted to visit again

Where to stay in Perth

When you choose your Perth accommodations, remember that this city stretches over a wide area, which can cause issues for visitors with limited time to sightsee. The best way to remain close to urban transportation is to stay in the central business district or neighboring Northbridge, where you'll also find the greatest selection of hotels. To avoid the center's big crowds and steep hotel prices, consider booking a room in the coastal town of Mandurah, easily accessible by Perth's reliable suburban railway system.
