Perth Concert Hall Reviews
Attended Rachmaninov Rhapsody with guest violinist. It's an easily accessible well organised venue and the sound is great.Shame my partner was so tired he fell asleep! I enjoyed it! more »
I’m sitting on narrow short seats and can’t believe they haven’t been upgraded. So uncomfortable especially for my husband who’s over 6’. Also I cannot believe that Door A takes you through the Carpar... more »
セントジョージズテラスにあったGovernment Houseを外から見学した後、すぐ近くにコンサートホールがありました。ここなら交通の便も良いし便利そうな場所でした。 more »After a tour of the Government House on St. George's Terrace, there was a concert hall just around the corner. The location is very good.
Wonderful venue, as always! No matter what event, this is always a great place to visit. Has such a nice ambience to it, between the terrace views, the miles of plush red carpets and the museum exhibition on-loan exhibits of dinosaur skeletons and other such interesting pieces- It has always got excellent good, wonderful staff, fine disability access, is beautifully clean, and best of all to me, it has space in the lifts to turn around a wheelchair!!!
Pretty decent concert hall; great acoustics. In terms of classical performances, one would never be disappointed by the quality of music. I would say that it would perhaps be a bit better if there were more restrooms at the venue as it does tend to get out of hand when it is extremely busy (long lines). Well ventilated from an audience's perspective, but vice versa from a performer's perspective (backstage is small and stuffy if there are a significant amount of performers, it should be fine if there is a small number of performers). Performing at the Perth Concert Hall is absolutely amazing, so I would recommend in partaking in significant musical groups, bands or orchestras if you are musically skilled.
This venue has some of the best accoustics I've seen or rather felt in any Perth City venue. I feel like more can be done with this place like find a way to make it affordable for most while still keeping it classy. I know that I want to fill up this venue one day. It's worth it. I can't seem to find the pictures I took of the auditorium. I just have a few from the lobby.
I saw Skyhooks play here in 1974, the year it opened. Has always been a great concert venue. Tonight West Australian Charity Orchestra and Choir performed Gershwins American in Paris and Beethovens Ode to Joy. Fantastic.
Seats are very narrow. Saw a big guy coming out the seat next to me. You could tell he was very uncomfortable and he wasn't super big. Scenario should be in a different shape so everyone can see the show properly.
