Very first visit to the Arena. Quite impressed with safety /security checks. Not too invasive and quick. Entrance to seating was well marked and wide walkways so no crowd issues. Exit was equally efficient. Top marks to designers and operators.

The Perth Arena is a beautifully designed sports and concert venue in central Perth. The seating may be uncomfortable at times, but since the seats serve multiple purposes, their utilitarian nature seems understandable. The staff are pleasant, the selection of events is broad and the easily accessible location makes the Perth Arena a highly desirable location for entertainment in Perth.

Wow amazing venue. All seats are great for viewing sports or concerts. Seats are comfy and enough and there's space between rows to not be a bother to the person in front. Basketball is awesome to watch, the atmosphere is electric.

I absolutely love this place for concerts. The sound is amazing. It's a safe place to go with loads of security and bag checks. Food is good. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Saw Jerry Seinfeld live here. I could not possibly have sat any further from the stage, right up against the back wall on the top tier of seating. That said, the acoustics were fine and I didn't miss a thing, although I would say that the contrast on the screens at that angle made him look a bit like a zombie! Drinks and food are typically meh!

Where to stay in Perth

When you choose your Perth accommodations, remember that this city stretches over a wide area, which can cause issues for visitors with limited time to sightsee. The best way to remain close to urban transportation is to stay in the central business district or neighboring Northbridge, where you'll also find the greatest selection of hotels. To avoid the center's big crowds and steep hotel prices, consider booking a room in the coastal town of Mandurah, easily accessible by Perth's reliable suburban railway system.
