Lotterywest Federation Walkway, Perth
Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Take a treetop stroll along the landmark Lotterywest Federation Walkway, opened in 2003 inside the city's popular Botanic Garden. Extending over 620 m (2,034 ft), the walkway is a combination of several ground-level paths and an elevated glass and steel bridge, suspended in the canopy of tall eucalyptus trees. Walk along the walkway all the way to Two Rivers Lookout, which offers picture-postcard views of the city’s skyline and the rivers Swan and Canning. Conveniently situated in several locations along its length, maps of the walkway outline special points of interest and the garden’s notable plantings. Please remember that running, cycling, rollerblading, and skateboarding are forbidden on the walkway.
