  • Twice on our little minivacation in Perth, we went for a run to Kings Park. Love the open spaces and the topography makes our run that more challenging.  more »
  • King's Park is an area of untouched bushland on the edge of Perth, making it unique in Australia. There is lots of space to wander in. It has a number of features, including the State War Memorial...  more »

  • The perfect place for a picnic for nature lovers. Explore the multitude of plants from Australia in the beautiful gardens of the park overlooking Perth city. Great for kids play. Perfect for a family day out. There are lots of beautiful spots to take pictures. A must visit for anyone visiting Perth. Great cafe and restaurants with city and park views as well. N iconic park in WA!
  • It's one of the largest and best botanical garden in Perth. Moreover the entry is free. Located at the corner of the city which is accessible by foot or free cat bus from the city. There is also free car park available if you are driving. Flowers are seasonal and the best time to visit is in spring. There are lots of wild flowers as well. A must for photography enthusiast.
  • This is one of the main places to visit in Perth with lots of beautiful flowers as well as one of the best views in all of Perth. There is a war memorial site with a beautiful little cheap cafe in the middle of the park. This place is very famous in Perth and I would definitely recommend to all visitors.
  • Easily one of the most beautiful parks/gardens I have ever stepped foot on. I visit every Botanic Garden I get the chance to see and this is in my top favorites for sure! I was here in mid-October for wildflower season and spent 8 hours looking around and taking pictures, I could have spent another 8 easily. The garden has a wonderful lay out that makes traveling through the different sections easy and enjoyable. Many labels to identify what you are looking at, along with many plaque’s explaining history, and famous people from the area. It’s a very public place, and you can see how much this community gem is appreciated. There are also placards at the base of many of the trees honoring the local veterans who died in service of the country, it was moving to tears as a veteran to see such honor and respect. Gift shop was cool, and the nice folks working there were happy to talk with me about thing I saw, and questions I had. I love this place, and if I lived in Perth, I would be here weekly. Incredible job, and kudos to your amazing garden.
  • Beautiful park in about 15 mins walk from Perth city center but accessible by bus too. The war memorial is situated atop of the hill where there are fantastic views across Perth and the harbour. The botanic gardens are located here too. The grass in the park is green green green! The lawns are expertly maintained and you could play bowls on most of them as they are in such great condition. A beautiful area to walk around, enjoy the views or sit and relax in idyllic surroundings.
