4.3/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Enjoy the shaded pathways of Hyde Park Perth, where you can jog, rollerblade, bike, picnic, or simply enjoy a few quiet moments with a good book and a cup of coffee. European settlers turned this swampy zone into a public park in 1897, creating an urban green space that still plays an important social and ecological role. The park hosts frequent music festivals and live performances, and is a popular venue for weddings and family photographs. Also notable for its mature trees, the area is lined with figs, pines, jacarandas, cedars, and several indigenous eucalyptuses, some of which are over a century old. Two lakes located within the park attract a wide variety of birdlife, which includes ducks, coots, pelicans, and swans. • Loved Perth in Western Australia. I remember a square that has a huge tower. And the paintings on the floor? Beautiful. The statuettes of black cisneis look real. And the bus decorated with drawings of Kangaroo, running on the beach? All lovely! Not to mention the street cleaning. Super recommend this place over the top. ^^
