  • Beautiful beach and views but even out of season expect rude and unsmiling people on your walk along the esplanade. Been there multiple times now and it is overcrowded and extremely unhappy people...

  • The beach is best enjoyed in the morning as it becomes shady in the afternoon. We swam in the ocean, there are warning signs that crocodiles inhabit the ocean. Beautiful to walk along the sand.

  • Just beautiful. Great destination for the day or a week or two. Excellent selection of hotels to suit all budgets. From the pier at one end to melding into Clifton Beach at the other a delightful pathway connects them. Adorned with speciality shops and eateries the entire length sets the scene for a wonderful experience during your visit.
  • It's a nice place for holiday. Accommodations were just a few steps across the street. Lot of trees on the street side that gives shade from scorching sun. Cool breeze from the shore. We're unlucky though when we were there as swimming spot with net were breached by stingers! We end up shooting photos and videos of the stunning beauty of the beach line.
  • Hadn't realised the beach would be so very windy and the ocean looked brown because of the waves kicking up the sand. Port Douglas more like the paradise I prefer for a far north Queensland getaway. Not much at Palm Cove either but okay for a couple of night. One week was too long for me
  • Lovely relaxed place. Although restaurants are busy,so I'd recommend to book. Lovely meals 🙂
  • Omg visit this place when in Cairns it is such a great beach. wonderful water to swim in and lovely in the afternoon. Peace guys :p
