  • I have been buying wine from Simon for the last three years and have found him to be both supportive and professional on all occasions. He is passionate about the wines of the region and liaises with many of the winemakers on a regular basis. Ferment offers an interesting selection of both local, interstate and imported wines. This place is definitely worth a look.
  • I know Simon so I'm biased. But Ferment is really the best way to sample a whole range of local wines without driving around to all the cellar doors and getting pressured to buy. Compare them all on the spot. Simon's a good listener and will connect you with something that YOU like, and I guarantee you will want to buy. The region is producing some great wines now.....whites and reds. Go give Ferment a try.
  • My favourite place to visit when I'm in orange. I've been recommended ferment to anyone who'll listen. Simon really knows his wines and is very helpful and friendly. Service is impeccable and the wines are fabulous! Check out the website as most of the wines are on there and Simon is excellent with email recommendations! My favourite pino noir at the moment is the roaring fork 2015 he sells.
  • Fantastic wines and a great way to try small, local wines from one location.
  • Imagine going to multiple cellar doors and trying the region's best wines - in town, in one place. That's the Ferment experience. Simon knows his wines, the local area and is a generous and gracious host. You can sample the different wines, then buy - buy the glass or bottle, or enjoy a glass of the best of the region in a chilled, happy atmosphere. Popular with the locals, it is a gem . The wisconsin cheese on the cheese board cannot be missed.
