  • Wonderful water garden, can't wait to come back on an open day to see the rest! Complimented by good coffee, a nice wine nice if limited cafe menu and friendly service.
  • The gardens are huge and very beautiful. It is great to catch the bus to go to the top and then make your way back down in your own time. The map is not at all helpful and needs to be revised. A great...  more »
  • Visited Mayfield Garden during the period that the private gardens were open. While some parts were lovely much of the area was cordoned off due to dampness underfoot although it didn't look that wet....  more »

  • Nice atmosphere and great staff. Amenities are clean and well located . Cafe , store, classic entertainers all great. Thanks
  • What a wonderful day out! Our 2.5 year old twins loved wandering around the Water Garden... Such a beautiful setting, our meals at the cafe were delicious... I can't recommend Mayfield Gardens highly enough, and even though it's reputation speaks for itself, I would give 6 stars if Google would let me!
  • Wow what a beautiful place to visit. Oasis. Great food fresh from the gardens. Nice crew as well.
  • This is an extraordinarily beautiful garden - so worth the visit. Our kids love discovering the many nooks and winding paths in the Water Garden. The Private Garden is open each spring and autumn - it is truly amazing and well worth the extra ticket price. As locals we love the fact that we can take a trip out to the cafe and a wander through the nursery year round.
  • Nice place and staff, would definitely return and recommend
