  • The location is not the greatest, the wineries located within the vineyards are much more attractive so next time I will visit Penfolds Magill Estate Cellar Door. Allowing for the location it was a go...  more »
  • I just found this to be our least favourite of our visit to the Barossa. I think we copped the least helpful staff member which didn't help. I also think that this doesn't fare well as far as location...  more »
  • Very nice place. $10 wine tasting and good selection. Will be waived with a purchase. Well worth the visit.
  • When you think Penfolds you think luxury and quality .. this isn't what you're greeted with when you arrive. Set on a main road you don't drive up to the tasting room through the vineyard - which is very surprising. Cant fault the wine and staff. Just a bit a great setting for a brand all Australians know
  • We had a lovely experience at Penfolds. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The wines were lovely and we got to try a great number of wines which was awesome. They do make some incredible wines. Recommend stopping here to try some of their wines, the good thing is these wines are mostly available in your local bottle shop, so no pressure to by at the cellar door.
  • For clairty, Ive been cellaring wines for decades and big reds from Barossaa and Mclaren Vale are my favourites. I found Penfolds Barrossa had a small tasting room and the highest tasting cost. We left without wasting more than the 10 minutes we spent standing around waiting, suprising as it it was not as busy as many other cellar doors.
  • Overrated. Only go there if you like their wine. Doesn't have the atmosphere of other small wineries.
