  • We liked the mix of animals, though it could've been a little more diverse. A mix of native and exotic animals, and chance to get hands on with a number of them (kangaroos, lambs, chickens, horses, et...  more »

  • Sited beautifully on the bank of the Shoalhaven River with cliffs behind. Very good and interesting talks suiting all ages. And then.......that wonderful slide!
  • My family and I have been visiting this zoo for years and are always impressed. The shows by Trent are a must see and fill up a large part of the day. He is so knowledgeable and funny that every show is thoroughly entertaining. The animals are probably the most accessible of anywhere I've visited - fancy having a koala stuffed in your face so you can smell the eucalyptus? New exhibits are also coming online soon as well. The location amid the cliffs along the banks of the river is also brilliant in its own right. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
  • We are locals and love to visit the zoo whenever we get a chance it is a great experience for everyone to enjoy, its suitable for all ages. we have grown up knowing the owners of the zoo, and they are lovely people, who want to keep the zoo expanding. The Zoo Café has excellent service and so does every other part of the zoo. Overall it is a great place to go if you get a chance. (do not recommend on a rainy wet day).
  • Family owned and family friendly. The animal shows are like none other. You get to hug a humongous wombat, smell a koala, wrassle a croc, and cuddle a Burmese python. Trent and the other staff are energetic and caring. A must see!
  • The zoo is not that big, but the structure is quite well done. The keepers are friendly and share big knowledge in the shows... I was disappointed cause if u wanna take pictures with animals u must pay 10 bucks for each picture, even if use ur own equipment.
  • It's fantastic that this zoo has encorporated the surrounding environment to form their animal encolurses!. The keepers are warm and friendly and there are lots of opportunities to pat the animals and to have photos with them. Theres pellets available to feed all the animals with and also a petting zoo and wallaby/emu area where we were actually lying on the ground with the wallaby patting it. They also have a tree tops adventure course which I will be definately coming back to try! Its a size size zoo and that works really well! This zoo is privately funded so every entry really does go to a good cause. Animals were in beutiful condition and the park and encolsure were regualry maintained and cleaned
