  • Loved the hands on activities for kids. Parking can be difficult depending on when you go. Well worth a visit  more »
  • Very easy to move around to the different sections, but not sure about the area for little ones. It seemed like just a mini indoor playground. Not sure it is appropriate for a Museum.  more »

  • It's a pleasant place to visit while walking along the water front. Entrances is free which is always a plus. They have a 5 minute "show" about the iron making in the city at the top of every hour. If you're there while it's on check it out else not worth a special trip.
  • On a rainy day the museum is the perfect choice. We didn't make it past the kids/science section. Kept the kids (and us) engaged for a good couple of hours. The live show was excellent - informative and exciting.
  • The Newcastle Museum is a great place for tourists or families to visit. The attractions are interesting and engaging for everyone. Their is a café out the front and jas plenty of amenities.
  • Great free place to take the kids especially in wet weather. Enjoyed the science show and steam exhibition. A fun educational day for everyone.
  • Beautiful place to visit with kids. Friendly staff, great collection.
