  • Great place for kids on a wet day - free entry and a toddlers play area and some fun and interactive displays for the older ones. Some paid exhibits but general admission is free.
  • pretty good interactive exhibits, and a good history into the city's coal mining history
  • Fantastic play & discovery space for little kids
  • Great museum. Free entry other than for special collections. Great exibits. Great family outing
  • Lots of artifacts and records of this industrial city well presented - and great fun even for little children with a large indoor play area next to the interactive science exhibits for older kids and adults!
