Nice place to visit for an ice cream, a snack or a full blown meal. There is also some shopping there and it is a short walk to the main street in Nelson Bay. Don't forget to have a look at the whale ...  more »

I think they were going for a mini Darling Harbour when they built this place - it's just way TOO big for a small coastal town. Lots of empty retail shops in the complex which is never a good sign, al...  more »

Amazing dolphin watching cruise. Did see some dolphins as well. It takes more or less $30. The cruise lasts around 1 hr 30 mins. It's really worthwhile.

Terrible! I ordered a scotch fillet steak with salad and they served it to me with chips. I took a bite and had to spill it out because the meat was not fresh and it tasted like it had been defrosted and left out for a long time. When I returned it and asked to swap it for something else they told me I had to pay again because they weren't going to give me something else just because I didn't like what I ordered. I told them I feared for my health if I ate that meat. I said I was going somewhere else and the old man there said "fine". My husband ordered fish and chips. The chips were undercooked, anemic, and the fish came with no lemon. We had been going to that restaurant for many years and never had a problem before. It seems to me that they have a new cook and new management. They lost 6 clients now because our family is not going back there anymore.

Very nice harbour side area with nice restaurants and cafes. Well worth checking out while in Nelson Bay.

This place is picture perfect and yet the photos don't do it any justice. Great place for a walk. Nice and clean with alot of seating area. Great for a swim or a fish. Have plenty of activity to keep the family occupied. From dolphin and whale watching to a range of restaurants and cafes to wine and dine. Park for the kids and bbq for the adults. Live music plays time to time and not to mention the water is crystal clear.
