  • Goods with friends today. A place to get the reason is not so simple: the beer is great and the food also like to come back

  • We really like to visit craft breweries when on vacation, and this was a really good one! It was not far from where we were staying, and worth the drive! The owners must have named the brewery for the...  more »
  • A great place to stop and sample some great beers and have a nice pizza in the beer garden. The Samoyed are gorgeous and the owners are gregarious. Can get a little busy at lunch times in the summer b...  more »

  • Lovely rustic little craft brewery in a beautiful, peaceful location. The dogs are beautiful and super friendly as well.
  • Beer is great! environment is outstanding! food is delicious! what more do you want?
  • Yep. These guys are doing it right! Proper craft beers that are brewed onsite in their own brewery, along with great wood fired pizza and real down home atmosphere, especially out in the sunny beer garden with Antoniacoustic painting a musical foreground whilst you bask in the background of the serene Myponga reservoir. As much as Smiling Samoyed beers are enough to satisfy an array of discerning palates and would easily hold their own if that's all they served up, that isn't enough. These guys are supportive of other S.A. craftbrewers too, proving worthy tap space for the guys that might not have their own licence to do so yet. Big Shed's 2nd batch "F-Yeah" even has a go, and it ain't too bad either. The Smiling Samoyed's I.P.A. and American style pale ale are also a superb brew, and unfortunately that is all i tried. But the take home mixed 6 will fix that up. You'd expect "craft beer" to be that...and these are "that and much more". I quiver in anticipation before the next rendezvous with sweet amber made by Smiling Samoyed. So should you.
  • Loved our afternoon here, we booked into a nearby villa for a weekend getaway and found ourselves coming back here every afternoon. Their craft beer is brilliant particularly their APA they also stock craft beer from other great local breweries. If you get there between 12-3pm on the weekend they have wood oven pizzas; their chilli jam, chorizo and kalamata olives pizza absolutely brilliant.
  • Have been here several times over the last few years, worth the visit. Fantastic beers and pizzas, awesome little spot overlooking the water. These guys know where craft beer is at.
