  • The visit was the best of all we did in Mudgee. The owner gave us a full tour around all the wines he had, with a lot of explanations and we loved his story and they way he told us. At first I was not impressed with the wine (I'm from Spain, I'm difficult to be impressed by the wine), but I liked it so I decided to buy some bottles. It's a couple of weeks later and I decided to open a bottle of their merlot while cooking... now I'm impressed! It's nothing like I remember. Maybe the one I tried there at the winery was open for too long or maybe I mixed it with the previous one from the tasting, I don't know, but right now, after a terrible day of work and negativity, it has changed my mood. Excellent! Amazing! BTW this is after the first cup... I'm going to finish the bottle although it's tuesday and I only drink on weekends. Thank you, I'll come back for sure.
  • Fantastic catalogue of wines. A definite return and visit annually
  • Friendly hosts! Wine into Water is a great blend
  • We visited about 9 cellar doors on our tour of Mudgee and Short Sheep was by far our favourite. Sue was a warm host who has an obvious passion for what she does. A quick tour of the winery and a generous taste of their quality wines. Highly recommend the Wine Into Water... a great wine and a great cause.
  • Friendly, nice wines. Good stories and well presented
