Set some time aside for a picnic at Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens, nestled in a valley covered by over 11 hectares (27 acres) of mixed subtropical and temperate exotic plants. This park is home to plant species from around the world and includes large seasonal displays of camellias, magnolias, gardenias, azaleas, and rhododendrons. A huge rose garden is also situated inside the park, along with a large collection of perennials, bromeliads, clivias, and hydrangeas. Take a walk through the park’s Japanese garden, designed to include a variety of pruned shrubs, a small pond, and a bridge. As you walk, rest at one of ten contemplative sites, spread around the gardens to allow visitors a chance to rest in a variety of calm natural settings.   • A hidden treasure. Loved what they're doing with for the youngsters. Can't wait to come back at different times of the year 
  • The botanical guardens here is amazing. Very well maintained and alot of love and effort gone in considering its all been maintained by volunteers. I only had an hour or two to walk around, definitely need a full day to absorb the full potential of it.

  • Lovely presented gardens. Even though it's not very large, the diversity and range of plants is exceptional. Especially loved the combination of Aussie Bush meets Tropical Rainforest. Well worth the visit.
