  • Easy parking, friendly country hospitality, great food, wonderful atmosphere, wine, cheese, fresh fruit & veg, homemade products, e.g. pickles, jams, bread, cakes, pastries. A fish monger, butchers with country killed meats not to mention the best country breakfast/brunch you could ask for. Love that you can pack a picnic hamper from products bought here, all fresh, and take it to Mannum only 25 odd minutes away, or head 5 minutes to Birdwood, Mt Crawford or Federation Park in Gumeracha for a picnic. The best of both the Adelaide Hills & Barossa Valley.
  • Stopped here on our way to Saunders Gorge to buy fresh veggies and fruit. People are friendly and great fresh fruit was on offer plus fresh bread and rolls.
  • Barossa & Light Cab Service recommend the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market, because it is, without a doubt, the number 1 Farmers Market in South Australia, as per The Advertiser Food Critics Award it has won. Shop here for the 'paddock to the plate', meaning you can grab anything here, ranging from fresh produce, baked goods, meats, artisans cheese, with everything fresh from the farm, to you, to your plate at home. Be sure to visit here, because we at Barossa & Light Cab Service come here as often as we can.
  • I have visited this market every Saturday morning since I moved to the area. Fabulously fresh produce that tastes devine
