Mount Gravatt Lookout offers panoramic views of the region, looking north to Brisbane. From here, you can easily reach a well-known cave complex located on a trail on the southern slope of the mountain. The green area surrounding the lookout abounds in native wildlife, including lizards, birds, and butterflies. At this location, which includes a large parking lot, you can take leisurely strolls, picnic on the grass, or drop by the small café at the top of the hill, which serves light meals and cold beverages. Be sure to bring your binoculars to really appreciate the scale of the big city. • Some great walking trails in the area and a great view. Map at the top wasn’t too helpful, but a very enjoyable activity.  more »
  • What a beautiful spot! View is superb. Lovely little hideaway. Very busy the day we visited with a number of small groups, possibly for their Christmas get together but the service was friendly and no...  more »

  • The view of the city from the top of Mt Gravatt is excellent. On a clear day, the Glass House Mountains can be seen. Well worth the drive, ride or walk up. Walking for Pleasure has guided, Saturday morning walks up here on bush tracks. See W4P website.
  • Nice view of the city. Didn't know it existed until recently. The restaurant want open when we went there.
  • Road is very narrow and uncared for lots of bikes use the main road which is too small as it is and the sides of the road have been eaten away by rain so not possible to pull of the road to avoid anyone. Minimal parking and cafe at the top is hardly open. But amazing views and huge walking tracks.
  • great views of the brisbane area. bush walking is available here too
  • Cool little friendly hill. 612 ft vs Mount Coothas 941 or so feet. Views still great. Cafe and little park all lovely.
