  • You can very well spend your day exploring all that Taronga Zoo has to offer. With reptiles to marine to Tigers, you name it and they have it. A good way to learn about the wildlife and see some interactive shows. It is mostly an easy stroll. It also has a cable car joining the two ends of the Zoo. We walked to the end and took a cable car back to the entrance/exit. Good to visit with family friends and kids.
  • Had the best time with so much to see, spent a whole day there and I'm sure we missed stuff. The talks done by the keepers are very educational and the whole place was keep clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I was also very happy with the prices. Family deals and online discounts are always something we often look for, and gosh did they deliver.
  • We (the kids especially) love coming here. Wide open spaces for the animals to roam freely, a good bus system and even pretty decent food from the cafe. With the planned improvements it can only get even better. Looking forward to more different animals as there aren't that many different ones at the moment.
  • This zoo is very well maintained. All the animals have nice big enclosures and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a lot to see and you can get really close to koalas, penguins and kangaroos if you book an up close encounter for an additional price. The zoo also has some spots with great view of Sydney opera house. It's big not so much that you can't see it in a day. The only downside was the platypus was hiding and we didn't get to see them.
  • Incredible zoo. Plenty to explore and take in with breathtaking views of the city and harbour. The only downside is we went on a scorching day and the lack of shade and water stations made it hard to make it a full day. Still, definitely worth coming.
