  • Kids had a great time collecting all the stamps around the establishment and also had a close up with a seal for a fantastic photograph. The seal show was also good for kids and adults alike!

  • If you are in the Sunshine Coast area and have a few hours spare it is worth taking a trip to Underwater World. Primarily geared at kids and little ones it has enough of a fascination for a short trip. The highlight is the seal show with an opportunity for a photo shoot with a talented seal. More shows would certainly keep you there longer, but it is none the less a fun quirky place.
  • Underwater World was a great day trip, very informative, and very friendly staff willing to answer any questions. Parking is a nightmare though, very few car parks around the area. Upon exiting you will be pressured into buying a photo book, show any disinterest and the price suddenly drops but forcefulness increases.
  • Great Sea Life. We had a very nice time there. The Sea Lions and sea seals are just amazing - so funny, intelligent and cute. Building needs a renovation, looks not to nice. Overall a great experience.
  • If you understand that the running costs of an aquarium of this size and what their goal is, the cost of admission is justifiable. Not something you'll be doing multiple times per year, but the value you get justifies a trip every now and then. The seal show was great, with a focus on biology more than doing lots of tricks (some tricks) that makes it feel much more like a proper aquarium than a tourist attraction - major props for that. Walkways can be a bit crammed, and the layout can be difficult to walk around, and many people walking the wrong way causes a bit of congestion - but worth it for fitting as many displays in such a small footprint. Carparks are showing their limits on a busy day, just park down the road and take a short walk along the beach to save the hassle!
  • A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Kids enjoyed the touch tank, and being right up close to the fish.
