Took 4 grandchildren and they loved the exhibits especially being so close to them....seal show was entertaining. Jellyfish a highlight
A great place to get hand on experience with what lurks under the sea. Well presented themes throughout the exhibition with hands on with the rays and other creatures. The sharks and large fish are so... read more »
Great place to visit. Lots to see and do. The seal show was very entertaining and funny. The kids loved it!
If you understand that the running costs of an aquarium of this size and what their goal is, the cost of admission is justifiable. Not something you'll be doing multiple times per year, but the value you get justifies a trip every now and then. The seal show was great, with a focus on biology more than doing lots of tricks (some tricks) that makes it feel much more like a proper aquarium than a tourist attraction - major props for that. Walkways can be a bit crammed, and the layout can be difficult to walk around, and many people walking the wrong way causes a bit of congestion - but worth it for fitting as many displays in such a small footprint. Carparks are showing their limits on a busy day, just park down the road and take a short walk along the beach to save the hassle!
Very well set out with plenty to see and do. My 6 year old daughter had a ball. Would have been 5 stars except for the cafe inside which was expensive and out of most of their food except hot chips.
Fantastic experience and if you arrive early you can have great uninterrupted views. Good cafe there as well and easy to navigate. When you purchase a pass you can come and go as you please for the day.
Fun for a visit. The shows are always fun and entertaining. The upgrades they have completed look great. Kids will love it.
Such a fun day out. We also booked and paid for the shark and Ray snorkel which was simultaneously terrifying and exhilarating. If you want to leave and come back in the same day they also stamp your hand to allow you back in. I'd recommend booking your tickets in advance and doing the shark snorkel which was not as expensive as I expected. Also, the seal show, which is included in the cost of your ticket, is funny and entertaining so make time to see it!
