  • Nothing particularly spectacular about the dam itself but the couple of hours (return) walk to get to the lookout is well worth the effort. Some great changes in flora and plenty of beautiful photo op...  more »
  • A lovely country drive down to the dam picnic grounds. Water levels are quite low, but still an enjoyable spot to picnic. Lots of kookaburras and wildlife around. Enjoyed watching a couple of people p...  more »
  • Worth a look when in Montville. Shady picnic spots and waterviews. Dam level was low though. The cafe nearby is expensive.  more »
  • Nice place to end the day off, take a walk and some photos of the sunset landing on the hills infront of the catchment. Gets a little cooler towards the end of the day. Drive through the gate to park right on the Dam.
  • Nice. Has a few electric barbeques and plenty of picnic tables. Water activities were not allowed due to water quality issues at the time.
  • Not a lot here. Ok place for a bbq.
  • I bit smelly
