  • This guided tour was great & very informative. I think Jenolan Caves (NSW) are better in formations but the Mole Creek Caves have the extra special glow worms which is fascinating.
  • We did both tours of the main cave which is definitely worth the money and time it takes to get there. It was so beautiful and peaceful. One of the highlights of our trip to Tassie for sure! Make sure...  more »
  • The ranger at the site was knowledgeable to explain the caves and how the straws, stalactites, shawls, etc. are formed. Showed us that twinkling lights reflected of the flowstones mean that the format...  more »

  • I was really surprised by those cave, and the fauna around. One of the best spot to visit during a long weekend.
  • Great place for anyone, but our 4 1/2 year oldboy loved it. He loved fitting through the small cave openings, and the staff welcomed kids (explorers) questions, and also let them lead the adults. We only saw the easy flat cave but we were not disappointed.
  • We absolutely loved this tour, it's an amazing and unique experience. The stairs are not too taxing as the tour stops and starts, our 2 year old managed it well. The formations are just incredible , you shouldn't miss them. The only negative is that our tour guide, who was somewhat eccentric to begin with, toward the end of the tour pulled out a soapbox and started raving about "cave greenies" and environmental politics as a chief authority. This then raised the ire of a man taking the tour saying that they should all be shot. We found this extremely offensive to say the least and I hope our guide learnt an important lesson about prothletising.
  • The guide was quirky and full of information. It was well worth the money
  • Worth taking the time to visit.
