  • The two public ally accessible caves in the Mole Creek area. The Tasmanian Parks service has a ticket office at entry area that is staffed by a very helpful team. Note that if you pay for both caves t...  more »
  • On the 3 visited cellars, Gunn Plains, King Solomon and Mayberry Marakopo, the latter is not only the only mediocre, but ban to take pictures in a good of caves, even without FLASH. When the walk, it is also outlawed. You rely on a body guard, the 'guide' makes it vibrate... Fortunately, it was the third, I would not do others in Tasmania, while I visited on several continents.

  • Recommend visiting both caves: Marakoopa & King Solomon’s cave, both have different things to offer. Ticket for 2 people to see both costs $68. We did the Fern Glade walk while we waited for the tour....  more »

  • Amazing place to visit, would recommend to anyone. Great guides, stunning caves, well prices.and easy to navigate for most able bodied people. I can't walk any great distance, my wife is claustrophobic and we brought our three and a.half year old and all had a great time. Definitely worth the trip.
  • We came here to explore and see something a little unusual. My 5yo daughter loved the cathedral and the glow worms. We'll come again next time we're in Tas.
  • Loved these cave systems. We went to King Solomon's cave as a group and had Aaron as a tour guide. Aaron is a genius and keeps the group very interested and informed. The formations in the cave were amazing and a must see. I also recommend doing the fern glade walk either before or after the cave viewing.
  • This place is fascinating and well worth adding to your itinerary. Make sure you take warm clothes for inside the caves!
  • It's a great place to see glow-worms in the wild and the caves themselves are not bad either. Going to both here and King Solomon's cave is probably a bit much.
