  • Terrible location for a recreational activity/facility/tourist destination. The road into the farm is 12km long. It's a very narrow, one lane dirt road where the speed limit is 40km. And for good reason. The terrain is more suitable for 4WDs, but you can get a car in and out just as easily as we did. However..... The road is subject to flooding. It's in the middle of nowhere. You do not want to crash or drive off the road as emergency services probably wouldn't find you since there are several dirt roads that you can use that track through the bush. The roads are very unpredictable with hikers walking and bikers riding, and sharp blind bends where you really need to take it easy driving on the road. This drive is NOT a rally track where there's only one way traffic where you can speed. It is highly unpredictable and great caution is needed to arrive safely at your destination. Sure, if you want to be a kamikaze driver and don't care about the lives of families travelling the road then by all means speed away.... do the world a favour by driving your vehicle off one of the many cliffs along the road. Just don't take my family or someone else's with you. The berries aren't worth dying for.
  • Two stars for the delicious berries but that’s unfortunately where it ended for our family.. They taped around the best trees full of ripe berries which gave you no alternative but to pick off trees with underripe berries or so overripened that they squish in your bucket. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Argumentative girls at the register, very abrupt when I asked them not to pour the two overly squashed berries on top of my pile. One just disregarded what I said and continued to pour it over my berries so I picked them out and she told me I need to pay for them. It sounds so silly that we’re arguing about two squashed berries and I understand that you have to pay for what you pick which is why I was ok with paying but she was terribly rude. I then asked for the sorbet for my daughter to which the other girl says “ I’m sorry we don’t have any” I could clearly see what looked like an ice cream cone with ice cream in it on the counter but she just shrugged her shoulders and ignored me. I had to ask several times and another customer standing behind me yelled out “what do you have for us to buy?” and she walks away. Manager then walks in with his own attitude and says “anything you pick, you have to pay for” He had absolutely no idea how rude his staff were, didn’t apologise for the rude service and assumed I wasn’t going to pay for the “two” squashed berries which could’ve been avoided if they’d allowed us to pick off the good trees. Seems like his staff are here on working visas and don’t understand the value of customer satisfaction. We looked past the fact that we had to drive 13km on rough terrain to get there but bad service is not acceptable. What a way to spoil a beautiful experience.
  • Kids like it. Nice ice cream, berries not quote as high quality as in the past. But they are charging for entry now, and road in and out getting worse each year
  • Great place to go especially for kids and having fun picking as a group. Excellent ice cream
  • Perfect way to spend a morning enjoying picking and an ice cream. Yum!
