  • Luna Park is a Sydney institution with its prime attraction being its location & it knows it. On the pros side it’s still a great day out for kids (although teens who have been to US in particular sim...  more »

  • Luna Park is super fun, if you're looking for a night out that is different from the norm. The rides are heaps of fun. Try and go when its less busy. The rides tend to be quite short and it's a bit of a let down to wait for a such a long time to get on, only to have it end soon after. The bar at the front of the park has some good cocktails, but it's really expensive. To be expected, I suppose. The best value for the park is to get the unlimited pass online. When you buy online you can get a two for one deal. This is heaps cheaper than the full price of $55 per person!
  • Great old-fashioned theme park fun! Great fun for younger and older kids, although teenagers may be more quickly bored. Good food places, but service can take a while when busy. You would usually spend a whole day here.
  • Great to see they have kept some of this historic attraction going on the harbour landscape... Not as many rides as i remember from my childhood but still worth a visit if you havent been for a while. Lots of restaurants and bars now for those who are of age so not just for the kids... Overall a good day out for the people of all ages
  • This place carries a great history in itself, but right now ? it looks like it is struggling to exist. Trying to preserve it's own history, it is lost in the past and there are no major upgrades carried out whatsoever from last couple decades (except repair jobs, probably...) Why cannot the rides be any bigger, better organised and more thrilling?
  • We came on a Saturday during school holiday, and based on other reviews we expected lines. We were presently surprised that our longest wait was 10-15 min. We had prepurchased the green and red bands for our kids which saved us a couple of bucks and we were also pleasantly surprised that the park offered "accompanying adult bands" for the same price (as the green and red kids' bands) that allowed us to accompany our kids on the rides and not pay the full adult price. Yes, we wouldn't have been able to ride the other rides if we wanted to but we came so the kids have fun anyway. Paying the accompanying adult price was worth it imho as more than half of the rides in each kids' category (red and green) required an accompanying adult. Had fun
